BWF – AGITOS Para Badminton Technical Workshop in Bangalore, India

In partnership with AGITOS Foundation and the Para-Badminton Association of India, the BWF recently hosted a three-day Para Badminton Technical Workshop in Bangalore, India from 08 – 12 December 2018.

Participants from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Spain attended the activity, which included a Disability Coaching workshop and National Classifier workshop.

BWF experts Mohamad Zuno Ali, Kaity Hall and Komwudh Konchalard delivered the workshops which combined both theory and practical elements.

“The participants were very open and keen to enhance their knowledge of Para badminton and coaching athletes with an impairment. The BWF’s new disability coaching module and supporting video clips will assist these coaches to better introduce the sport to athletes in their countries” said Ali.

The BWF would like to thank the AGITOS Foundation, Badminton Asia Confederation, Paralympic Committee of India and the Badminton Association of India for their support of the project.
