In partnership with AGITOS Foundation and the Para-Badminton Association of India, the BWF recently hosted a three-day Para Badminton Technical Workshop in Bangalore, India from 08 – 12 December 2018.
Participants from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Spain attended the activity, which included a Disability Coaching workshop and National Classifier workshop.
BWF experts Mohamad Zuno Ali, Kaity Hall and Komwudh Konchalard delivered the workshops which combined both theory and practical elements.
The BWF would like to thank the AGITOS Foundation, Badminton Asia Confederation, Paralympic Committee of India and the Badminton Association of India for their support of the project.

Compared to the other regions in the world, Oceania faces unique challenges due to the remoteness, distance between countries and continents and difficulty in accessing resources. This creates several barriers to participation and challenges to aspiring players. However, opportunities such as
