The BWF has unveiled a newly modernised series of 92 Shuttle Time instructional videos, designed to elevate badminton education for children aged 5 to 15 worldwide.
Available now on the BWF Development YouTube Channel, the refreshed series introduces vibrant graphics, animated characters, and practical teaching tips tailored for educators and coaches.
These enhancements aim to make learning more engaging and accessible, whether in a classroom, gymnasium, or outdoor setting.
With a strong focus on inclusivity and diversity, the series introduces both indoor and outdoor lesson formats, ensuring flexibility across different environments and resources. A dedicated lesson walkthrough video further supports teachers in planning and delivering effective sessions.
Currently available in English, the videos will soon feature French, Spanish, and Arabic subtitles, expanding their reach to non-English-speaking communities. Updates to the Shuttle Time App are also underway, with the new video expected to be available in early 2026.
BWF is encouraging Member Associations to actively share the videos across schools, clubs, academies, and partner organisations to maximise their educational impact and promote badminton as a tool for healthy living.
Launched in 2012, Shuttle Time is BWF’s flagship schools programme, now active in over 162 countries. It continues to champion accessible badminton education, fostering physical activity and life skills among young learners.
