We will be running a series of Shuttle Time Big Hit Festivals to create a legacy from the TOTAL BWF World Championships 2017 by encouraging thousands of children in Scotland to take up the sport of badminton.

The inaugural Big Hit Festival was staged at the Emirates Arena on Monday 6 June to coincide with the launch of tickets sales to the general public.
Scotland and Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon was also unveiled as the first official World Championships Ambassador and along with Robert Blair, Rebekka Findlay, Caitlin Pringle and 16 Sports Leaders from Hillhead High School, Craig put more than 200 children from St. Rose of Lima Primary through their paces on the badminton courts.
We will be running a series of Big Hit Festivals throughout Scotland in the approach to the World Championships. Further details will be announced in due course.
