BWF – MBA Host Coaching Clinic For Underprivileged Children

November 23, 2022

On 6 November 2022, BWF and Michael Badminton Academy (MBA) co-delivered a CSR Coaching Clinic at MBA Badminton Hall in Puchong, Selangor to 66 underprivileged children (4-20 years old) from five homes.

Lasting two hours, the clinic was supported by six volunteer coaches on six badminton courts, each showcasing a different one of these Shuttle Time activities.

The children had great fun, leaving their caregivers appreciating the opportunity while the volunteer coaches and homes were given certificates of appreciation.

BWF also donated each home with badminton school kits and portable nets to ensure the children could continue playing badminton at home. With the children and the homes already looking forward to the next activity, discussions with MBA will take place on extending the project.
